The UP-D899MD is a compact A6 black and white digital printer, and the successor to the Sony UP-898 medical printer series.

The dual cutter allows prints to be cut upwards or downwards, with blades at the top and bottom of the output slot. Smooth downward cutting is possible even when the printer is installed below the ultrasound console. The redesigned cutter ensures even smoother operation, enhancing workflow efficiency.
