The recorder provides extensive connectivity options, accommodating a broad spectrum of current and legacy devices. The HVO-500MD records HD or Standard Definition video onto its high-capacity internal hard disk drive.
Through a straightforward menu selection, video can be simultaneously recorded to an external USB drive or a network server. This feature not only saves time by obviating the need to transfer or duplicate video files to another storage medium post-recording but also acts as an additional precaution against data loss. As the ideal successor to the DVO-1000MD, it shares the same command set for control via RS-232C or USB, facilitating a seamless transition to a hard disk-based HD workflow.
