The recorder offers extensive connectivity options with a wide array of current and legacy devices. It stores HD or Standard Definition video on its high-capacity internal hard disk drive. Through a simple menu selection, video can be simultaneously recorded to an external USB drive or network server, or burned directly to the recorder’s internal DVD drive. This simultaneous recording feature saves time by eliminating the need to export or copy video files to another storage medium after recording, and it also acts as an extra safeguard against the loss of valuable data. The recorder serves as the ideal replacement for the DVO-1000MD, offering a seamless transition to a hard-disk-based HD workflow with the same command set for control via RS-232C or USB.
